Continuing legal education for Texas attorneys, in queue for individual accreditation by the State Bar of Texas MCLE.
In development
Kensho's Texas CLE catalog covers ethics, tax, cybersecurity, forensic accounting, and cross-cutting topics for the modern Texas practice. Ethics coverage includes engagement letters, cultural competence, cybersecurity, elder financial exploitation, AI competence, and the ethics of compliance in captured institutions. Tax coverage includes choice of entity after OBBBA, estate and gift tax for non-tax attorneys, litigation settlement tax consequences, and tax literacy for lawyers whose practice touches tax without specializing in it.
Courses are being submitted individually for accreditation. No course is offered for MCLE credit until accredited.
Texas attorneys complete 15 hours of CLE annually. Of those 15 hours, 3 must be in legal ethics or professional responsibility. The remaining 12 hours are accredited CLE with no subject restriction.
